Job DescriptionJob Description

Downtown Nashville award-winning design firm Interior Design Associates, Inc. is looking for an entry level Design Assistant for the Studio Design Team. Chosen candidate will be integrated with the design team and will assist with project design from concept research, millwork and ceiling design, to construction documentation. Applicant must be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, with technical knowledge in construction detailing. Looking for long-term employee with high growth potential. This position does not include finish or furniture selection.

Candidate should meet the following requirements:
• Minimum of Bachelor degree in Interior Design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, release 2018 or higher, and currently working with AutoCAD.
• Proficient in Revit, release 2018 or higher.
• Proficient in Sketch Up, not required but is a plus.
• Interior 3D modeling skills are not required, but are a plus.
• Candidate should be highly creative and have strong design and detailing skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to work well under pressure.
• Must have good attitude and be team-oriented.
• Candidate should have an interest in Interior Architecture.
**This is not a drafting position, it is a design position. Please do not apply if you know CAD, but do not have a degree in Interior Design**
