Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will inspire young minds and contribute positively to our learning community. You will plan and implement educational activities that not only adhere to Maryland’s curriculum guidelines but also foster creativity, critical thinking, and a love of learning.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver a stimulating early childhood curriculum that incorporates STEAM education.
• Create a nurturing and safe classroom environment that respects diversity and encourages social and emotional growth.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and tailored support as needed.
• Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders to maximize student learning and well-being.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and school policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or higher.
• 6 semester hours, 90 clock hours, or equivalent approved early childhood coursework.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with preschool-aged children in an approved educational setting.
• At least 9 clock hours of approved training in communication with staff, parents, and the public.
• 3 clock hours in ADA Compliance and 12 additional clock hours in professional development.
• First Aid and CPR certifications preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and implement creative and engaging learning experiences.
• Able to pass a background check.
