As a Fire Alarm Service Manager, you will oversee the operations and supervision of our fire alarm monitoring center. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate response to alarm signals, and maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations. Your role will require strong leadership skills, technical expertise in fire alarm systems, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.

  • Alarm Response Management: Monitor incoming alarm signals, dispatch emergency responders as needed, and coordinate with clients and authorities to ensure timely and appropriate responses to alarms.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of alarm monitoring services, conducting regular audits and performance evaluations.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to fire alarm monitoring systems, providing technical support and guidance to monitoring specialists.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing fire alarm monitoring services, including NFPA codes and standards.
  • Customer Relations: Serve as a point of contact for key clients regarding monitoring services, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire alarm monitoring or related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role preferred
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as NFPA certifications, state licensure as required, and experience with monitoring software/systems (e.g., UL-listed central station experience).
  • Skills: Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, proficiency in alarm monitoring software/systems, and ability to effectively manage crisis situations.
