Status: Direct hire, FT, On-Site

 

Responsibilities:

 

Act as the primary customs representative for assigned customer accounts, providing timely responses to inquiries and ensuring resolution of issues to customer satisfaction.

Demonstrate mastery of customs brokerage products' standard operating procedures (SOP) and best practices.

Take ownership of Customer Standard Operating Procedures and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) databases to ensure full compliance with CBP and customer requirements.

Transition from basic data entry to customs brokerage account management, serving as a trusted advisor to clients.

Analyze and validate import documentation and data to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations prior to entry submission.

Maintain a high level of operational excellence in terms of on-time performance, accuracy, and customer service.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Minimum of 3 years of customs entry-writing experience.
