Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking an Outpatient MH Counselor (Resident or Fully licensed LPC) - Hybrid, to join our team You will provide outpatient counseling services to individuals, couples, adolescents, and groups via tele mental health (video conferencing) and in-person sessions.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish rapport and provide counseling based on individualized needs according to the comprehensive assessments
  • Implement and review treatment plans
  • Provide evidenced based therapy
  • Offer group counseling based on your area of interests
  • Collaborate with additional treatment providers and attend monthly clinical team meetings
  • Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner

Qualifications:

  • Fully licensed or Resident Licensed in the state of Virginia
  • Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields
  • Familiarity with community mental health resources
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Ability to operate and utilize computer and telehealth platforms for video conferencing
  • Experience with electronic health records and notes
