We are a small company with a diverse customer-base seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician to perform the following tasks:

  1. Plans details of working procedure by determining replacement needs or new material required.
  2. Analyzes circuits wiring diagrams and drawings to install, repair, calibrate, service or replace electronic devices and systems.
  3. Electrical installation of customer supplied equipment.
  4. Installs EV charging stations (Level 2) as specified.
  5. Replaces lights, installs new panels and transformers, and adds receptacles as required.
  6. Provides guidance and supervision to Apprentices assigned including their appearance, demeanor, and work performance.
  7. Pulls and routes cables and installs conduit through ceilings, walls, floors, workstations, etc. in compliance with Company and Industry standards and Electrical Code.
  8. Installs and services communications, life safety, security, and electrical equipment, conduit, conductors, and devices as needed.
  9. Uses cable tester to effectively test and document according to Company and Industry requirements.
  10. Drives Company vehicle in a safe manner in accordance with the rules of the road. Ensures maintenance cleanliness of vehicle.
  11. Maintains cleanliness of job site and all materials.
  12. Informs supervision of any requested changes or unexpected difficulties on projects assigned.
  13. Ensures all unused material from assigned projects is returned.
  14. Attends technical and administrative trainings as required.
  15. Documents projects on Tablet and/or on paper to include: writing a brief description of the work performed, including hours spent and personnel involved; updating supplied drawing or making a hand drawing of the facility with outlet locations and numbers: making sure that test results were properly identified in tester and downloaded.
  16. Ensures vehicle has proper stock items used on a daily basis.
  17. Presents positive image to customer and assigned Apprentices through professional appearance and behavior at all times.
  18. Interfaces with customers on a regular basis. Keeps customer informed of project progress and estimates of completion.
  19. Performs all work according to safety standards established by supervision, Company standards, and state and federal regulations.
  20. Travels, occasionally for extended periods of time, sometimes overnight, to perform assignments.
  21. Follows established Company policies and procedures in the performance of duties.
  22. Possesses and maintains the personal tools and test equipment required.
  23. Works in a variety of difficult environments in a variety of weather conditions, both inside and outside.
  24. Climbs ladders, works on elevated platforms, and lifts a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance. Use of tools and test equipment requires excellent eye-hand coordination.
  25. Maintains excellent attendance to ensure responsibilities are performed, including overtime or irregular hours (weekends, holidays, evenings, “on call”).
  26. Maintains registration in good standing as a Journeyman Electrician.
  27. Completes jobs as efficiently and effectively as possible according to Company standards, job specifications, and local codes.
