As an Electric Vehicle (EV) Inside Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and supporting customer engagement within the electric vehicle industry. Your primary responsibility will be to assist potential customers in understanding and choosing the right electric vehicle solutions that align with their needs and preferences. This role requires strong communication skills, product knowledge, and a passion for sustainable transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Engagement:
    • Engage with customers via phone, email, or online chat to understand their EV Charging needs and preferences.
    • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to post-purchase follow-ups.
  2. Product Knowledge:
    • Develop a deep understanding of electric vehicle models, features, benefits, and charging infrastructure.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, new EV models, and technological advancements.
  3. Sales Support:
    • Assist customers in selecting the right electric vehicle chargers based on their budget, infrastructure, and charging needs.
  4. Lead Management:
    • Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns, website inquiries, and referrals.
    • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM software.
  5. Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with the outside sales team, product specialists, and EV charger technicians to address customer inquiries effectively.
  6. Problem Solving:
    • Address customer concerns and resolve issues related to chargers.
    • Troubleshoot basic technical questions and escalate complex issues to appropriate teams.


Experience and Skills

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the automotive or technology industry.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Passion for sustainable transportation and environmental awareness.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in SalesForce CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field preferred.
