Job DescriptionJob Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable CNC Machinist to join our team. You will set up and program various tools and equipment to create, modify, or repair precision parts. During production, you must monitor the machinery and conduct regular quality checks to ensure they are running properly and that the parts are being produced according to specifications. Accuracy is crucial to our production, so all candidates must have attention to detail and be extremely focused on their work.

 

Monday – Thursday 4 days a week / 10 hour days – 6:00 am – 4:30 pm

$25 - $28 depending on experience. Temp to hire preferred

 

SUMMARY

Under limited supervision, operates CNC and/or conventional machines where work may be of a semi-routine or repetitive, production nature.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

  1. Operate and setup CNC and/or conventional machines.
  2. Change tool offsets at the machines.
  3. Deburr, wash and bag components.
  4. Grind cutting tools.
  5. Maintain a safe working environment.

2 Kitamuto mycenters mills

60-inch lagun lathe

Kafo and sharp CNC mills funuc control

2 cnc lathes nakamura cobra hardinge bar feeder

 

Qualifications

  • CNC Mills & Lathes
  • Operating and set-up experience
  • Blueprints, tight tolerances, calipers & micrometers

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma, Certificate from NTMA or equivalent education preferred.
  • 5 to 8 years machining experience including conventional and CNC, or equivalent knowledge or experience.
  • Editing NC programs at machines
  • Grinding cutting tools
  • Deburring parts.
  • Checking parts using conventional inspection devices.
