Harper-Clayton is a leading Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) panel system fabricator and installer in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex. We have over 18 years’ experience specializing in the design, fabrication, and installation of ACM building envelope and cladding systems.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a driver to deliver finished panels and other materials from our fabrication shop in Ft. Worth to job sites throughout the state of Texas and neighboring states. You will work closely with the Shop Foremen and alongside our entire team to schedule and plan the logistics of deliveries in order to meet installation crews’ needs and project deadlines. This role will require assistance with fabrication as needed between deliveries.

Responsibilities:

  • Load and pack material into trucks and on trailers and assist with unloading at job sites.
  • Assist with inventory management and material handling.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that machinery, tools, materials, and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
  • Follow established safety protocols and practices, contributing to a safe working environment for yourself and your coworkers.
  • Operate CNC machinery and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble aluminum composite material to create panels of varying sizes according to project specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of finished panels to guarantee they meet our stringent quality standards.
  • Identify and rectify any defects or imperfections in the panels, ensuring a flawless end product.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in CNC operation, metalworking, or fabrication is a plus.
  • Clean driving record and ability to drive a pickup truck and trailer.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and relay issues from the field foreman to the Shop foreman.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
  • Possess a cell phone with GPS capability for driving instructions
  • Familiarity with forklift operation, fabrication machinery, and tools is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Awareness of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing tasks and priorities as needed.
