Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Systems Administrator to join our team, dedicated to maintaining, and enhancing complex systems for space applications. This Systems Administrator will possess a solid understanding Red Hat and Windows systems administration.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Performing Red Hat systems administration
  • Performing Windows systems administration
  • Performing VMWare administration
  • Responsible for storage appliances including MSA, Nimble and Vast
  • 24/7 on-call support rotation
  • Scripting with PowerShell, Python and/or Perl


Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Red Hat, VMWare and Windows system administration.
  • Demonstrated expertise in software engineering best practices, including version control, continuous integration, and automated testing.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Experience scripting with PowerShell, Python and/or Perl.
  • Experience working with Mule, Jboss or Nifi.
  • Experience working with storage appliances including but not limited to MSA, Nimble or Vast.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and provide solutions to complex technical problems.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with a proven track record of working effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work 24/7 for on-call support rotation


Preferred Qualifications

  • Scripting in PowerShell, Python, Perl
  • Familiar with mule, jboss, nifi
  • Familiar with storage appliances (MSA, Nimble, Vast)

Education/Experience 


Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience in lieu of degree.

 


Clearance Requirement

 

Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
