Overview:

  • Work hours: Monday to Friday, between 7:00 am and 4:30 pm.
  • Responsibilities: Installing wooden structures, including post and beam barns,  Mass Timber, sheds, and other outbuildings 

Responsibilities:

  1. Installing Wooden Structures:

    • Constructing and installing wooden elements such as:
      • partitions
      • Joists
      • Stud work
    • erecting scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground levels

  2. Precision and Safety:

    • Cutting materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
    •  adhering to specifications prepared by other construction professionals and architects.
    • Ensuring a safe and clean work environment.

Qualifications:

  • carpentry experience.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Own hand tools 
  • Experience with mass timber construction (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to follow instructions, communicate with co-workers, and adhere to safety guidelines.
  • Good understanding of basic math.
  • Physical endurance and attentiveness to safety.
