Job Overview: We are seeking skilled and experienced Construction Framers to join our team. The Construction Framer will be responsible for framing walls, floors, and roofs according to blueprints and specifications, ensuring the structural integrity and safety of the building.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans to determine framing dimensions and layout.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and other building materials to construct walls, floors, and roofs.
  • Install framing hardware, such as braces, anchors, and trusses, to support structural components.
  • Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembly and installation purposes, adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Inspect completed framing projects to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with building codes.
  • Collaborate with other construction team members, including carpenters, roofers, and contractors, to coordinate framing activities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Framer or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and building plans.
  • Strong knowledge of framing techniques, materials, and tools used in construction.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools, such as saws, drills, and nail guns, safely and effectively.
  • Attention to detail and precision in measuring, cutting, and assembling framing components.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and climbing.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from job sites.
  • OSHA certification or willingness to undergo safety training is a plus.
