Job Summary: We are seeking a Warehouse Operations Associate I to join our team in Modesto, CA. This role is essential in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, including receiving, stowing, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management. The Warehouse Operations Associate I will focus on learning and performing tasks under close supervision, gaining valuable experience in warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stowing, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management.
  • Maintain safety and security standards for goods and warehouse equipment.
  • Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for inventory tracking, process documentation, and reporting.
  • Execute tasks under close supervision; focus on learning warehouse operations and systems.
  • Occasionally support field work required for equipment installations and commissioning.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of relevant warehouse experience.
  • Specific Skills:
    • Proficiency in using warehouse management and ERP software.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Personal Characteristics:
    • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • Certifications/Licenses: Forklift certification is preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach during the majority of the workday. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment that may involve temperature extremes.
