Job Details:

  • As an Agency Representative, you will play a pivotal role in representing our agency during meetings with DODD representatives and prospective clients ( individuals ). Your primary responsibility will be to effectively communicate the benefits of our services and advocate for potential clients to receive support through our agency. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a persuasive communication style, and a thorough understanding of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Present the agency through the 7 first DODD counties in Ohio and provide them our strategy our features and our services with business cards and flyers (one-time visit for each county ). 

  • Attend meetings with the DODD representatives in the different counties ( Cuyahoga - Lorain- Medina - Summit - Portage - Geauga - Lake )all are in Ohio state and potential clients to discuss service options and client needs.

  • Clearly articulate the benefits and features of our agency's services.

  • Work to secure client agreements and facilitate the onboarding process.

  • Maintain detailed records of meetings and follow up on leads.

Pay:

  • For the agency presentation, it will be 150$ per one-time visit per county. 

  • Compensation is $150 per in-person meeting and 100 $ for online meeting, with a performance-based bonus for each client, successfully onboarded to our services.

Shift and Schedule:

  • The schedule is flexible and will be determined based on the availability of the DODD representatives and potential clients. Meetings may occur during regular business hours, depending on the client and the DODD representatives.

Job Location:

  •  The schedule is hybrid meetings may be conducted online or in person. In-person meetings will take place at Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) locations in various counties including Cuyahoga, Lorain, Medina, Summit, Portage, Geauga, and Lake, or other designated sites within these counties, depending on the requirements of DODD representatives and the preferences of potential clients.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in client-facing roles, advocacy, or related fields.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong persuasive and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple meetings and client interactions efficiently.

  • Familiarity with the Social work system and disability services is preferred.

  • Reliable transportation is necessary for traveling to in-person meetings across multiple counties.

Recommended Educational Background:

  • Degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Psychology, Communications, or Business Administration.

Additional Qualifications Preferred:

  • Certifications in Case Management or Client Advocacy.

  • Training in Conflict Resolution or Negotiation.

  • Experience in disability services or a similar field is a plus.
