Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team You will conduct tests to determine the quality of materials and finished products as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products.
  • Conduct and report internal audits and evaluations.
  • Implement and improve quality control operating procedures.
  • Participate in routine visual inspections.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

​​Qualifications:

  • Prior use of measurement equipment including Optical/Video Comparators, CMM Machines, Micrometers, Calipers, Gages Etc. required.
  • Proficient in reading of drawings required.
  • Knowledge of ISO-9001 or AS9001 required.
  • Team Player, will work with production personnel on a daily basis.
  • Documentation and reporting skills.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) ERP software skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft based email system, a plus.
  • Knowledge of turning, milling and metal stamping manufacturing a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Problem solving and decision making capabilities.
  • Comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time.
  • Previous work experience in quality control or other related fields
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
