Location: Vinton, VA
Environment: Long-Term Care (LTC) Mail Order
Shift: Monday to Friday, 12:30pm - 9:00pm (possible weekends)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately dispense prescriptions and medications in a timely manner.
  • Verify prescription details and ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Provide professional advice and guidance to patients and healthcare providers.
  • Manage and oversee pharmacy technicians and support staff.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
  • Ensure safe and efficient drug storage and inventory control.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to medication orders.
Requirements:
  • Pharmacy Experience: Proven experience in a pharmacy setting is required.
  • LTC Experience: Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) is a plus.
  • Licensure: Must hold a valid Virginia Pharmacy license.
