REGIONAL VP of PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

Our ideal Regional VP of Professional Services embodies:

  • Strong Leadership. Even keeled and level-headed, you enjoy guiding and growing a Professional IT Services team. Able to lead by example, you develop trust quickly, value diversity, and bring others along with you. You are direct and assertive without being arrogant and have strong delegation skills. With a deep understanding of your IT team, you know the best ways to leverage their skills.
  • Strategic Thinking. You understand value structure, always keeping an eye out for new and expanding opportunities. Excited by seeing the bigger picture and how all the pieces work together, you understand the only way to get it done is to invest in your people. You listen to and value the input from others on your team and are solutions oriented.
  • Customer Service. The client experience is everything. As the escalation point, you can defuse any situation and quickly create a path forward. With an entrepreneurial spirit, you can relate to your clients and display strong communication skills.

Recognizing the value of what currently exists, you humbly use your analytical capabilities to find ways for continuous growth and improvement.

In this role, our Regional VP of Professional Services will build and price professional IT services models and provide exceptional execution of solution implementation on budget and on time, every time. With the experience of maturing a professional IT services organization, you will roll up your sleeves and take ownership of this increasingly growing business unit. Driven by results and success, you will inspire your team, significantly increase revenue, and create credible client experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The job responsibilities of our Regional VP of Professional Services include, but are not limited to:

  • Business Development: Collaborate with the sales team to identify service opportunities, participate in client presentations, and develop proposals that align with client needs and business objectives. Contribute to the development of new services and solutions that address market needs and support business growth.
  • Leadership and Strategy: Develop and execute the professional services department strategy in alignment with company objectives. Lead and mentor a team of project managers, consultants, and technical experts, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Act as a senior advisor to key clients, building strong executive relationships and ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Service Delivery Excellence: Ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet client needs, are delivered on time and within budget, and achieve targeted profit margins. Oversee services project portfolio, ensuring effective resource allocation, project execution, and risk management.  Implement best practices in project management and service delivery processes.
  • Growth Mindset: Identify and execute strategies for growth and expansion. Leverage existing relationships and build new ones to increase our client base.
  • Financial Acumen: Manage the professional services P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and achieving revenue and margin targets.
  • Project Management: Oversee IT project execution to ensure it aligns with client objectives and business goals. Manage resources efficiently to deliver IT services within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Stakeholder Management: Lead regular stakeholder calls and meetings, providing clear communication on IT service delivery progress, challenges, and solutions.

 

*This is a full-time, hybrid position operating out of offices located in Pasadena, CA (three days in office); some travel required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • 10 to 15 years of experience leading multiple professional IT services teams
  • Demonstrated experience building a professional IT services business and growing it from 25M to 50M
  • Experience having responsibility for a P&L and increasing profitability
  • Professional IT services scoping and delivery experience

Preferred

  • Managed IT services experience

Desired

  • Healthcare industry experience
  • Advanced degree

Salary: $160K - $200 base + bonus potential
