We are accepting applications for Bookkeeper position based out of our Corporate Office in Watkinsville, GA. This role would oversee payroll on a daily basis as well as other accounting functions.

Primary Job Duties:

• Processing payroll and tracking payroll data
• Update General Ledger and payroll files
• Assisting with tax payments and returns
• Documenting financial transaction details and monitoring the transactions
• Preparing and filing financial documents
• Fact-checking accounting data
• Reconciling company accounts
• Supporting Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable clerks as needed
• Working with staff accountants as needed

The Ideal Candidate for this Position Will Display:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word. Must be able to create templates, perform basic page setup, editing, and formatting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Must be able to create formulas, data linking, pivot tables and charts.
• Detail-oriented and accurate working with numbers, spreadsheets, and data entry
• Strong ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to communicate complex data clearly
• Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Good customer service skills
• Payroll accounting skills

Expertise and Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years’ experience or Associate Degree in Accounting or Business
• Paycom and SAGE 100 experience preferred, but not required

Position Details:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm)
