Hours: Monday through Thursday 7am to 5:30pm

Therafin Corporation, a company committed to helping physically challenged individuals achieve greater independence, is seeking an ideal candidate in the Customer Service department. The successful candidate will join a small team of Customer Service Reps known for providing excellent customer service. Preference will be given to candidates with the following:

  • Great listening skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Good computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Experience with rehab products, custom wheelchair seating or other health care products
  • Ability to configure customizable products to meet customer requirements
  • A high level of personal integrity and professional credibility

The essential roles, responsibilities and activities for this position are:

· Confer with customer by telephone, fax or email to provide information about products and services, take or enter orders and quotes.

· Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints or comments, as well as action taken.

· Receives, processes and verifies the accuracy of orders from customer purchase orders received via the telephone, email or fax.

· Knowledge of/ability to learn company operating systems: Quote To Order, Fourth Shift and File Hold.

· Knowledge of telephone operating functions

· Provide accurate information and product knowledge for products found within company catalog and or website.

· Determine payment and shipping method, collect payment for any prepay account prior to shipping.

· Create and distribute Return Authorization Form (RA) to resolve customer, customer service, shipping, billing and product failure, such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, or adjusting billing.

· Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.

· Tasks as directed by supervisor.

Hours: Monday through Thursday 7am to 5:30pm. Please note, this is NOT a "call center" position.
