Industrial Crane Operator

We are currently hiring for a a leading provider of industrial solutions, specializing in precast concrete. We are committed to excellence and safety in every project we undertake. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Crane Operator to join our dynamic team.
Job Summary: The Industrial Crane Operator will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position materials accurately and safely. This role requires a keen attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate overhead, tower, and mobile cranes to lift, move, and position materials as required.
- Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance on cranes to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with site supervisors, riggers, and other team members to plan and execute lifts.
- Use load charts and calculate crane capacities to ensure safe lifting and movement of materials.
- Maneuver cranes in tight spaces and around obstacles with precision and control.
- Communicate effectively with ground personnel using hand signals and radio communications.
- Document crane operations, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered during shifts.
- Assist in the setup and dismantling of crane equipment at job sites.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while consistently meeting project deadlines and productivity targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid crane operator certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating industrial cranes.
- Strong knowledge of crane operation safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
