We do not accept or bill Insurance : we are a Concierge Practice.

Role Description

Dr. Kaur is searching for a Medical Assistant who has Primary Care experience along with a passion for helping others & a strong work ethic.

This role will start out on a part-time basis for opportunity to progress into full-time as the Practice grows.

Dr. Kaur is looking forward to working with someone who is goal-oriented, self-driven & motivated to help start & grow a new Practice.

The CMA will be responsible for assisting Dr. Kaur with (minor) medical procedures, scheduling appointments, updating patient records, performing phlebotomy services, obtaining EKGs/in-Office POC testing and performing other medical office duties; both clinical and clerical.

Qualifications (include but are not limited to:)

  • Medical Assisting and Medical Terminology skills
  • Experience in patient care and assisting with medical procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with medical office procedures and policies
  • Certification/Diploma as a Medical Assistant
  • Associate's Degree is preferred
  • Proficiency in English
  • BLS/CPR Certification
  • At least two Letters of Reference from past Employers/Supervisors
  • Proficient in maintaining Electronic Medical Records
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • A clean background check is required
  • Willingness to grow a new medical practice
  • Willingness to learn and implement best practices to ensure an excellent patient experience

Office environment is laid-back & low-volume : we are not a traditional Primary Care Practice.

Competitive Compensation based on Experience

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 27 per week
