JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides technical and operational support of Audio Visual technologies such as: Video Teleconferencing

(Polycom, Cisco); Crestron / AMX; Audio DSP (Biamp, QSC, Symetrix); Dante; Extron; Barco / Planar; Projection Devices; Video Wall Display Systems; Digital Signage Systems; Wireless Microphones; PTZ Cameras (Sony, Vaddio, Cisco); Zoom / Microsoft Teams.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

·  Providing a High Level of Customer Support, including onsite as well as phone and remote support.

·  Developing an ongoing customer relationship, resulting in future customer loyalty.

·  Completing Preventative Maintenance visits to ensure all customer rooms and systems are operating in an optimum fashion.

·  Troubleshooting system issues to determine and find resolutions, or appropriate usage.

·  Adjusting Digital Signal Processor configuration files as needed.

·  Making minor code updates to Crestron SIMPL code, and working with a programmer for more complex program adjustments.

·  Handling high level Audio Visual issues on complicated installed systems.

·  Working with manufacturers for equipment servicing (technical support, securing return authorizations, completing repair functions required to resolve customer issues).

·  Assembling reports and in-house paperwork as a means to document customer interactions and improve company efficiency.

·   Providing operational support for customer meetings and events as required. 

Skills and Abilities 

Strong attention to detail

·  Strong communication skills

·  Extensive network and pc setup capabilities

·  Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding

·  Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds

·  Must be able to work in high places, as well as small, cramped places

·  Highly self-motivated and directed

·  Typing skills and strong written and verbal communication skills

 

Education and/or Experience

·  Two-year diploma from a Technical School, or equivalent experience.

·  CTS certification from ICIA or  other manufacturer-based certifications a plus (Crestron, QSC, Biamp, AMX, ClearOne, Extron, Planar, RGB Spectrum, Polycom, Tandberg, etc.)

·  3 + years of experience with audio-visual, corporate video, or other related systems.

·  Must possess a valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
