Responsibilities: Oversight of Bids/ Contract Procurements and a skilled Senior Estimator. Will help manage Internal Project Management Software Operations for Ryzec Building Group, LLC and collate and manage negotiated and competitive bid packages. Coordinate and cooperate with project PM’s with project startup Bidding, Procurement and Operating System input/upkeep. We are looking for a central coordinating individual with prior field experience with a recent successful background in Pre-Construction Management responsibilities.. This is mostly an office-based environment but field visits to new and ongoing sites are typical.

  • Perform Preconstruction management duties to include but not limited to, estimate, attend job walks, schedule, proposal creation and submission and then post award submittals and PM handoff.
  • Attend and provide briefings to Owner and upper management as needed.
  • Provide real time project cost and progress analysis.
  • Supply briefings on project progress and solutions to problems.
  • Conduct Value Engineering analysis options on projects to increase margin and/or productivity.
  • Attend full array of meetings with intercompany personnel, prospective clients, and current clients
  • Provide analysis on potential new projects and trade candidates.
  • Maintain lists of potential and current clients, subcontractors and vendors and negotiate all contracts with the client and subcontractors/Vendors.
  • Serve as support and back up when needed in Safety Management Quality Control and Supervision when required.
  • Support field personnel and managers daily to meet their needs in the way of equipment material or other assets.

Location: Nashville, TN Area Commercial General Contractor Office is in Franklin TN

History: Ryzec in business the last 16 years, licensed in 7 states in SE USA) Roughly 50% of our work is in Nashville Metro Area in ground up, retail and office tenant fit out including large multi-family renovation and build outs. The other approx. 50% is largely in food service for institutions (colleges) throughout SE USA.

Ownership: Firm has been founded and managed by 3 owners/partners each are 35-year construction veterans with backgrounds in development, civil engineering, housing and all types of commercial construction. Typical project size is between 300k to $6 million in contract size.

Position Base Salary: 95-$110,000 Base

Bonus: 1-2 % of Net Profits each year


We provide auto allowance of $500 a month for local project visits (Under 60 mile radius site visits) and for prebids. (Beyond that distance we provide additional per mile IRS published standard reimbursement for travel outside local range.)

We typically provide a Health Insurance Stipend for them to use on policy of their choice.

Red Team with Field Lens for Project Management Software and project job costing which is accessible from any platform and field office.

This new person will be integral to growing with the organization and will have opportunities to help define and formalize his/her role as they succeed.
