Job DescriptionJob Description

We are a growing manufacturer of precision gears, splines, housings, and gear boxes in the Aerospace Industry.  We are looking for a long-term, dependable General Laborer for our campus of 3 office/manufacturing facilities.  This is a direct full-time hourly position with full benefits.  Our benefits include an outstanding healthcare plan and safe harbor 401K, and much more.  Competitive pay includes overtime after 40 hours, paid holiday and vacation time, and much more. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform various physical duties as assigned
  • Miscellaneous cleaning as assigned
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Move, secure, install, build, load or unload materials
  • Perform some specialized tasks which may require on-the-job training
  • Use power tools and machinery (e.g. forklifts) when needed
  • Perform tasks inside and outside in various weather conditions

Requirements:

  • Possess a positive attitude
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
  • Ability to read labels, safety warnings and guidelines
  • Ability to safely operate various vehicles and equipment
  • Be willing to perform all aspects of the position
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus
  • Pass a background check and drug screen

On-the-job training can be provided for the majority of this position, dependability and a positive attitude are the most important attributes a potential candidate can possess.
