Product Development Coordinator

AAG is looking add a Product Development Coordinator to our growing Los Angeles based team A Product Development Coordinator would join the organization with basic knowledge of the garment development process. They are a key support role assisting the Product Development team. Their main objective is to add value to their clients by acting as an extension of the PD team offering exceptional customer service to make product development as easy as possible for them.
Responsibilities:
• Review incoming protos/submits with manager before sending to customer
o Create necessary packing slips and FedEx Labels
o Record all tracking info, communicate with customer, and follow through to ensure proper delivery
o Maintain Sample Registers
• Review customer proto/submit comments for accuracy and clarity with manager
• File all submits and samples in a clear and easily identifiable manner
• Record all lab dip, strike off, and bulk fabric approvals in the shared submit charts and WIPS
• Update WIP with customer PO revisions
• Prepare fabric and trim swatches for submission
• Provide meeting prep support by preparing samples, printing materials, etc
Requirements:
• Junior/Entry Level
• In Office 5 days a week
• Exceptional communication and customer relationship skills
• Proactive approach to hands-on product development
• Eager to learn
• Creative problem solver
• Sense of urgency and ability to adapt quickly
• Flexible and able to work under moderate supervision
