Who we’re looking for:

A Mechanical and Project Engineer who plans and manages projects, monitors progress, resolves issues, and ensures resources are available. Designs mechanical systems, develops schedules and budgets, selects materials and contractors, and estimates costs and time. Oversees site building control activities and ensures consistency across sites. Analyzes technology trends.

Responsibilities

  • Create project scope documents.
  • Manage bidding, evaluation, and selection of contractors.
  • Create and manage project budgets.
  • Supervise engineers and contractors.
  • Generate project tracking documentation.
  • Develop project schedules and timelines.
  • Support operation of mechanical systems (e.g., fans, pumps, compressors, chillers).
  • Maintain documentation for mechanical systems.
  • Communicate updates to system operators.
  • Manage building controls for multiple sites.
  • Create planning documents for budgeting and approval.
  • Collaborate with site representatives for optimal performance.
  • Present updates to site leaders.
  • Manage system updates and maintenance.
  • Optimize network and manage server applications.
  • Submit yearly planning documentation.
  • Create roles and responsibility documents.
  • Support mechanical/electrical equipment design.
  • Apply troubleshooting skills to minimize downtime.
  • Train associates on system enhancements.
  • Ensure reference documentation is accessible.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology.
  • 2-6 years of experience in mechanical and/or facility projects.
  • Experience with control systems architecture and programming.
  • Knowledge of industrial mechanical systems and related electrical/structural systems.
  • Skills in communication, customer focus, Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD.
  • Ability to communicate ideas, manage multiple projects, understand technical drawings, and work collaboratively.
