Junior Accountant

Full-time * In Office Position

Currently seeking Junior Accountant to assume a variety of day-to-day accounting tasks for our growing restaurant brands. The ideal candidate is a punctual, organized and detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of confidentiality. As the Junior Accountant, you will be an integral part in ensuring that our businesses operate efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Processing Weekly Accounts Payable

· Forecasting & Reporting Bi-Weekly Sales & Expenses

· Bank Reconciliations

· Prepare Journal Entries

· General Ledger Operations

· Month End Closings

· Reconcile and Maintain Balance Sheet Accounts

· Monthly Preparation of Financial Statements

· Account Analysis as requested

· Monitor and Resolve Bank Discrepancies

· Assist with Preparation & Coordination of Year End Tax Return Preparation & Audits

Education / Experience:

· Min. Associate's Degree

· Knowledge of Accounting Principles & Practices

· Knowledge of Financial Reporting

· Previous Accounting Experience (5 years +) Required, Restaurant Industry Required

· QuickBooks Desktop & MS Office Experience (5 years +) Required
