Medical Front Desk Receptionist's
Scottsdale, Arizona

Our client is HIRING NOW for Medical Front Desk Receptionist's. These positions are contract long term with Full-Time office hours of (Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm). Hourly rate of pay is $19.00 an hour.

General Responsibilities:

Greet patients, checking-in patients at the front desk, scanning, creating new patient charts, updating insurance, checking-in/out patients
Receive telephone calls regarding such things as procedures for obtaining medical assistance, directions, services available and requests for changes in scheduled appointments
Conduct initial patient interview to obtain medical record information, and assists patients in completing new or updating forms for the patient registration system
Manage, prepare, maintain files, copies, and scans patient records
Assemble patient records in correct sequential and chronological order, assuring that required forms are provided
Coordinate referrals and appointments with medical specialists, including determining patient’s health care payment and eligibility resources

General Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required; 2-year technical, vocational or college degree preferred
Front desk medical office experience (required)
Proficiency in MS Office and MS Outlook
Ability to work effectively with a variety of clinically trained service providers
Ability to meet and comply with HIPAA/Confidentiality policies and procedures and ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive patient information
