Panel Shop Laborer

Power-Flo Technologies is seeking a Panel Shop Laborer to join our UL Certified Panel Shop. The shop laborer will support building electrical equipment such as custom panelboards, switchboards, pullboxes, cabinets, retrofits, and more.
Full Time. Monday – Friday, 7 AM – 3:30 PM.
Pay Range: $18 - $22/hour

Shop Laborer Responsibilities :
- Assist welders, assemblers, mechanics, and technicians on-site
- Working with design team to complete switchgear packages
- Measuring and cutting materials to specifications
- Assembly of switchboard enclosures and interior electrical components
- Use power tools, hand tools, and other machinery
- Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints
- Preparing completed packages for shipment
- Follow company safety guidelines at all times
Shop Laborer Necessary Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Familiar with taking measurements and working with a ruler
- Familiar with assembling components
- Able to follow instructions in a proper manner
- Familiar with shop tools (hand tools, power tools, etc)
- Basic knowledge regarding use of a PC
- Mechanically inclined
- Competent with the use of electrical test equipment, i.e. Multi meter, shop tools, hand tools, pneumatic tools, hoists, etc.
- A valid and clean driver's license to operate company vehicles as needed
Shop Laborer Physical Requirements :
- Ability to stand for up to 8 Hours.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work on elevated platforms.
- Ability to climb ladders.
- This position may require standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching and/or reaching.
- You may be exposed to dust, loud noises, and hot and cold conditions.
- Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills may be required for hand tools, power tools, and other machinery.
