Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Alumni & Social Media Coordinator will work closely with the Admissions team to assist with developing and strengthening relationships with alumni and increased alumni participation in events and referrals, and implement online marketing strategies through social media accounts. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for promoting the alumni program to clients currently in treatment; running groups, actively participating in some activities
  • Maintains close contact with alumni through telephone calls, emails and text messages to help increase contact success rates that will help improve outcomes
  • Gather information surrounding the recovery process of each alumni while providing support to help those who may be struggling, need help meeting life challenges while celebrating in life successes
  • Ensures all aspects of contact with alumni documented 
  • Will attend some networking opportunities
  • Helps recruit speakers for Alumni Meeting and the at times the Outpatient Program
  • Markets all alumni events, workshops, and programs via phone, email and text messages
  • When needed travels to and acts as a liaison at alumni events and workshops
  • Actively participates in alumni events
  • Research audience preferences and discover current trends
  • Create engaging text, image and video content
  • Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products
  • Measure web traffic and monitor SEO
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
  • Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries
  • Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans
  • Follow posting schedule as outlined in addendum A, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics

Skills: 

  • Computer proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook skills).
  • Proficiency with Social Media Applications including but not limited to Tiktok, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Ability to operate under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Sound understanding of marketing principles.
  • Effective understanding of latest technologies and should identify how to apply them in marketing.
  • Work collaboratively and efficaciously as a team member.
  • Be self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative.
  • Effectively communicate and make best use of interpersonal skills.
  • Should be able to deliver creative and innovative thoughts to ownership regarding brand expansion.
  • Proven writing and editing skills so all public communications are in English that is clear, well written and precisely targeted to the audience.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  •  Drug and Alcohol counseling certificate: RAS, CAS, CADC, CATS, CDC, CAADAC, NAADAC, or any other license or credentials relating to the chemical dependency
  • Marketing experience is preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multi tasks and projects.
  • Maintains current certification for this position:
    • CPR/First Aid 
    • Crisis Prevention Intervention
