Salary:

  • Starting at $20 per hour

Job Type:

  • Part-time, Monday to Friday, daytime hours with no evenings or weekends required

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred

  • High level of computer skills; NextGen experience is a plus

Job Duties Include:

  • Welcoming patients and visitors with a warm, friendly attitude

  • Answering phone calls

  • Patient intake

  • Enter all patient information into the EMR system and prepare the patients for the providers

  • EKG administration

  • Responsible for ensuring exam rooms are properly stocked, cleaned, and report when stock is low

  • Proper execution of instrument sterilization process

  • Replace and dispose of biohazard bags and sharps containers into appropriate boxes

  • Call patients with medical care instructions and biopsy/lab results as per the provider

  • Help with scheduling of patients, and other duties as needed

  • Contributing to a positive work environment as a team player
