Position Overview:

The Customer Care and Sales Specialist provides top-notch service for our existing and potential customers.

·       Handle all incoming calls and sales leads with a high degree of professionalism and a friendly demeanor, builds rapport with customer to strengthen relationship- goes the extra mile to WOW the customer

·       Provides support to customers in all aspects of the sales ordering process including account set up, online site navigation, order processing, payment processing and delivery information.

·       Provides basic quotes and pricing for customers as needed and may seek approval on special pricing initiatives from the pricing team

·       Provides proactive outreach to customers throughout their customer life cycle

·       Monitors and manages independent online order placement and marketing strategies

·       Effectively resolves all customer product or service questions, concerns or problems by acting as a knowledgeable resource or facilitating the resolution through internal communication and partnership

·       Effectively utilizing internal systems and software to support customer management this may include CRM, inventory and order fulfillment systems and other related programs

·       Is a team player to support sales and operational initiatives, develops trusted relationships with internal teams

·       Adheres to all safety protocols.

·       Adheres to all pharmaceutical wholesale laws, rules and regulations

·       Provides regular and reliable attendance

 

Experience/ Education:

 

·       High school diploma or other equivalent; college degree preferred

·       Previous customer service experience

 

Skills:

·       Motivated, Self-Starter

·       Highly detail oriented

·       Excellent communication and presentation skills

·       Strong proficiency in computer systems and software to effectively manage customer elations

·       Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously

·       High degree of follow through and follow up

 

Physical Demands:

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is will frequently sit and constantly use fine motor skills while using a computer or phone, employee must be able to effectively communicate with customers through verbal and written communication talk or hear. The employee may occasionally walk, stand, reach overhead and lift objects of 25lbs.

 

 

JOB POSTING:

 

Safe Chain Solutions is looking for a Customer Care and Sales Specialist to join our winning Cambridge Team This newly implemented role will be a critical piece to our customer experience. The ideal candidate should have experience as an inside sales representative, inside sales specialist, inside sales account manager, or experience from inside phone sales. Additionally, this role is looking for opportunities to upsell products and services to the customer.

A day in the life:

  • Handle incoming customer calls and contacts to resolve customer needs; manage customer accounts to convert inquiries to sales orders.
  • Follow-up on marketing initiatives with potential customers
  • Act as a knowledge resource for our customers ensuring we are meeting and exceeding their requests; readily recommends new products and services to meet their needs
  • Be the key resource for our customers- system support, order processing, pricing and support the processing of payments.
  • Proactively reach out to customers to follow up on inquiries and order status
  • Maintain detailed notes in CRM of all activities
  • Collaborate with our internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Bachelors Degree in Communication, Marketing, Business or related field is preferred
