Job DescriptionJob Description

Southern California based General Contractor seeking an experienced Construction Foreman/ Superintendent with Finish Carpentry or Millwork experience to manage our remodel and maintenance projects. As a leader of our remodel team, you will take charge of scheduling and quality control of our in-house crews and subcontractors. Our foremen work directly with a Project Manager to keep open communication with stakeholders while completing projects under strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise construction projects from start to finish.
  • Read and produce project schedules.
  • Interpret schematics and blueprints for project execution.
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and laborers.
  • Manage labor output and quality control.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
  • Familiarity with programs such as Procore, BuildOps, or Excel for project management.
  • Build, educate, and manage project teams effectively.
  • Experience in commercial construction projects.
  • Proficiency in OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
  • Strong budgeting skills to manage project materials and labor effectively.
  • Proven experience in supervising construction crews.
  • A proficiency in basic plumbing, framing, concrete, masonry, and/or electrical.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, and research issues research solutions or instructions to resolve conflicts or issues that may arise on the job site.
  • Proven track record of building and managing successful construction projects.

Requirements

  • Must have Finish Carpentry or Millwork experience
  • Must have reliable transportation, and ability to travel
  • Commercial construction: 5 years (Required)
  • Managing a crew or small jobs: 2 years (Required)
  • Driver’s License Required
  • Willingness to travel (25%)

Compensation Dependent upon experience. Salary Range is between $85-$95K plus bonuses.
