It implies that the person is capable of handling multiple aspects of the business, which is essential in a startup environment. The perfect candidate must love crystals or know about candle making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm, providing knowledgeable and personalized recommendations on crystals, candles, and other products.
- Store Operations: Open and close the store, ensuring that everything is ready for business each day. Maintain a clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing store environment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, restock shelves, and assist with inventory counts. Ensure all products are displayed attractively and appropriately labeled.
- Sales: Drive sales by engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and promoting products that align with their interests. Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products, including their benefits, uses, and origins, to effectively educate and assist customers.
- Manufacturing: Assist in the light manufacturing or preparation of certain products, such as candles or crystal kits, as needed.
- Community Engagement: Help organize and participate in in-store events, workshops, or classes related to wellness, crystals, and candles.
Qualifications:
- A passion for crystals, candles, and wellness products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Previous retail experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to lift and move inventory as needed.
- POS system retail math.
