Warehouse Associate

Location: Providence, RI

Opportunity to work with a great company

Hours:

  • Full-time hours
  • Monday - Friday 
  • In Person
  • 2-3 contract 

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to interpret complicated instructions and use judgment within established
    procedures without close supervision
  • Ability to use computers and computer applications
  • Ability to learn new technologies and systems necessary to maintain effective job
    performance
  • Familiarity with automated inventory control systems preferred.
  • Capacity to review and adjust to new workflows as required by changing technology
  • Certification and training on Raymond Order Picker and Raymond Walkie Stacker Lift
    Truck will be required
  • Ability to work at height not exceeding 35 feet
  • Physical strength and stamina for prolonged standing, lifting, and carrying heavy library materials.
  • Must be able to lift and carry boxes weighing in excess of 40 pounds; good body
    mechanics required
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and operate electric lift equipment while at heights up to 35 feet.
  • Ability to read fine print, worn print and barcodes with or without assistive technology.
  • Ability to perform work accurately and at reasonable speed
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Possess a willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive campus community.
  • Ability to interact favorably with the public and coworkers

Pay Rate:

  • $27/ hour
