SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Construction Safety Director for its client in Dublin, OH. The person will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing safety programs to ensure a safe work environment for all employees and contractors. This role involves overseeing compliance with safety regulations, conducting safety training, and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections on construction sites.
  • Investigate and report on accidents, incidents, and near misses.
  • Provide safety training and education to employees and contractors.
  • Develop and maintain safety documentation and records.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Lead safety meetings and toolbox talks.
  • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction safety management.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct effective training sessions.
  • Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CHST) is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in safety management software and tools.
