Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of housekeeping and laundry associates to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Develop and implement cleaning protocols and schedules to maintain high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide daily assignments and guidance to housekeeping staff and laundry staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Maintain accurate linen inventories and ensure compliance with facility needs.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure personal laundry is returned without damage from the laundry process.
  • Ensure the disposal of trash and waste, including biohazards, in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Verify that cleaning products, equipment, and procedures are compliant with all applicable regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of housekeeping experience in an institutional environment with supervisory or management responsibilities.
  • Current knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations applicable to environmental services in long-term care.
