Senior Tax Accountant CPA

We are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant with 8+ years experience to join our team You will be responsible for preparing complex multi-state tax returns; analyzing client financial records; preparing compilations and reviews; and performing tax compliance filings on behalf of clients.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare interim & year-end closing financial statements and workpapers (GAAP & Tax basis);
- Prepare year-end tax returns for C & S Corporations, LLC & partnerships, fiduciary, gift, employee benefit and individuals;
- Prepare payroll taxes (quarterly & year-end) including 1099's
- Prepare sales tax, RPIE, commercial rent tax and other miscellaneous tax filings;
Qualifications:
- Previous current experience in small accounting firm environment
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP and current tax regulations
- Experience with Lacerte, QuickBooks, Excel and Word
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
