Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Old Hickory, TN

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 10-hour shifts (Night Shift)

Pay Rate: $20/hour

Job Description: Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a large manufacturer in the Old Hickory, TN area and we are seeking a Machine Operator to join their team As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our production line, maintaining quality standards, and meeting production targets.

Responsibilities:

• Set up machines for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and performing routine maintenance as needed.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards and customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during the production process, such as equipment malfunctions or material defects, and take corrective action as necessary.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a manufacturing plant.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards while meeting production targets.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials, and perform repetitive tasks.
