Job DescriptionJob Description

Job Summary

The Production Clerk is responsible for all data entry to help production and ensure proper recording and coordinating of the flow of work and materials between departments.  They assist Finishing Supervisors in examining orders for goods and preparing production materials within the D-365 ERP System needed to run production.  They prepare daily work orders and assist with coordinating and allocating labor hours in each of the job orders on D-365 daily.

Responsibilities

  • Requests and releases materials for daily production.
  • Records the start and finish of work orders throughout the day for production workflow.
  • Reconciles and tracks materials pertaining to each individual job.
  • Coordinates labor hours with the Finishing Supervisors and tracks per individual jobs and allocates labor hours daily.
  • Clears production errors in the D365 ERP system and closes daily production orders.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English both in written and verbal form.
  • Bilingual Spanish, preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Work, Excel, Outlook
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including daily overtime and Saturdays.
  • Must be able to continuously develop positive working relationships with all employees and adapt quickly to dynamic environments and situations.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • A good understanding of D-365

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry and pull heavy materials if needed.
  • Must be able to work in cold, hot, and wet environments with extended sitting, standing and walking.
  • May need to travel between buildings.
  • Must hold a current CA Drivers Liscense
