Job Description: We are looking for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to support our finance department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. Additionally, this role will involve managing all subcontractor paperwork, including insurance documentation and W-9 forms. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. 

  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies. 

  • Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable. 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files and records. 

  • Manage subcontractor paperwork, including obtaining and verifying insurance certificates and W-9 forms. 

  • Communicate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure compliance with documentation requirements. 

  • Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as needed. 

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred. 

  • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role. 

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 

  • Proficiency in Quickbooks and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

  • Familiarity with subcontractor documentation processes is a plus.
