Title: Data Entry Representative
Duration - 6+ months temp to hire
Location - 100% remote work
Pay Rate: $21/hr
Hours of operation
8am to 5pm Monday through Friday with a set schedule that includes a rotating Saturday shift with a day off during the week. This rotating Saturday would be once every four to six weeks.
Job Description:
Role Summary/Purpose:
• Enters information received by policyholders accurately into the data entry system
Essential Responsibilities:
• Input claim line items accurately and efficiently using the Data Entry program
• Daily contact with all internal departments
• Attends and participates in team meetings as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
• 50+ Words per minute typing speed
• 1 year experience in office / administrative data entry experience.
• 1 year recent veterinary industry or medical industry experience.
Desired Characteristics:
• Administrative experience within the medical or veterinary industry involving heavy data entry responsibilities.
• Veterinary technician licensure is strongly preferred
• Strong computer skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to write professional letters
Working Conditions:
• Typical remote working conditions.
• Ability to use computer mouse and keyboard
• Ability to sit for long periods
• Repetitive use of hands required
• Ability to work overtime as required
• Pet-friendly environment
