Responsibilities include:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for control systems, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and user manuals, to facilitate efficient troubleshooting and system understanding.
- Generation of bill of materials and component part selection.
- Develop and troubleshoot PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), HMI (Human-Machine Interface), and VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) programs.
- Document electrical designs using CAD software including panel layouts and schematics.
- Provide support for Technical Service, Manufacturing, and Sales teams.
What you need to succeed:
- Experience in electrical control system design, including HMI/PLC programming, VFD, Ladder Logic, and Panel design. Material handling experience is acceptable.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with co-op or practical experience in designing control panels and systems.
- Energetic, smart, enthusiastic, and personable demeanor. Fit into the team culture and someone you'd enjoy having a beer with.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, with a bonus if experienced with E-Plan.
