As the Human Resource Manager, you will play a critical role in managing all aspects of human resources for our heavy industrial operations. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing HR initiatives that align with business objectives and promote a positive work culture. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Talent Acquisition and Management

-          Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent in technical and operational roles.

-          Coordinate and conduct interviews, assess candidates, and manage the hiring process.

-          Implement effective onboarding programs to integrate new hires into the company culture and operational environment.

Employee Relations

-          Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related issues.

-          Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures in compliance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.

-          Address employee concerns and grievances in a fair and timely manner, fostering a respectful and productive workplace environment.

Training and Development

-          Identify training needs and facilitate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

-          Partner with department heads to implement career development plans and succession planning initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

-          Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with industry standards.

-          Monitor market trends and recommend adjustments to compensation and benefits packages as necessary.

HR Administration

-          Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation.

-          Prepare reports and metrics on HR-related activities and trends for management review.

-          Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Qualifications

-          Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

-          Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.

-          In-depth knowledge of labor laws and regulations.

-          Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

-          Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

-          Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software applications.
