Position Overview: The employee will provide comprehensive business analysis support services for various Federal projects, encompassing planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and assessment. Additionally, the employee will support the project management team in ensuring adherence to project plans, forecasts, and evidence-based program performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the project management team in addressing inquiries from stakeholders.
  2. Review business processes, provide recommendations for process improvement, and develop detailed project plans for implementation.
  3. Track fund execution, including commitments, obligations, unobligated balances, and expenditures, and generate necessary reports.
  4. Analyze project data to forecast trends, assess reporting regulations, and evaluate business conditions to inform funding decisions and budget allocation.
  5. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize project resource allocation.
  6. Identify potential schedule delays and propose corrective actions to maintain timely project obligation and allocation drawdown.
  7. Collaborate with project managers to forecast project financial outcomes based on current performance and timelines, and implement performance measures for evaluation.
  8. Monitor project health, identify risks or discrepancies, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  9. Assist in developing reports for stakeholder submission, as well as studies and needs assessments for the organization.
  10. Support internal and external audits by providing data and documentation, and conduct assessments to identify organizational vulnerabilities.
  11. Participate in project review meetings to discuss performance and improvement strategies.
  12. Develop tracking and reporting mechanisms to facilitate project management and tracking.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret financial data, interact effectively with individuals from various functional and technical backgrounds, and thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in using financial systems and software applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint) for analysis and documentation.
  • Possession of appropriate security clearance/background check at the contract start date.
