Job Descriptions/Responsibilities:
The Licensed Practical Nurse under the supervision of a Medical doctor and/or Nurse practitioner, and in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, coordinates target population’s access to healthcare, health education, and preventive services.
- Performs basic patient assessment procedures including vital signs, infection disease control and universal precautions.
- Responsible for maintaining and ordering medical supplies and materials under the guidance of the Nurse Practitioner and/or Clinic Manager.
- Performs EKG with the guidance of a licensed Medical Provider.
- Performs light administrative duties, such as copying and filing.
