Job DescriptionJob Description

We are looking for ​a Credit And Collections Specialist to join our team You will be responsible for securing billing payments from customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Find and inform customers about unpaid accounts
  • Receive and post payment to customer's account
  • Advise and follow-up with customers on unpaid accounts
  • Initiate repossession proceedings or disconnect service
  • Keep records and status of customer's account
  • Assessing creditworthiness based on a credit investigation and financial analysis of new and existing customers.
  • Assigning credit limits for new accounts and continually reviewing limits of existing customer accounts.
  • Uphold credit policies, including terms of sale and credit limits.
  • Communicating with customers via phone, fax, email, and letters to discuss financials, terms, and/or other issues.
  • Work closely with AR Collectors, Sales, and AR Managers to effectively manage customers’ accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in billing, customer service, or other related fields
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Minimum High School diploma, desired associate degree or higher
  • 3 years of experience in Business-to-Business collections (preferred)
