SUMMARY

Highly experienced and dedicated Registered Oncology Nurse with morethan 3 years of experience providing compassionate, high-quality care to cancer patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Possesses a strong knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating
cancer, as well as an in-depth understanding of the psychological and emotional needs of patients and their families. A veteran in administering chemotherapy and other treatments, managing side effects, providing comprehensive patient education, advocating for
patient needs, and must be proficient in accessing proficient in accessing port-a-cath and peripheral veins and administering intravenous cancer drugs.

 

EXPERIENCE

• Analyze and evaluate patient care plans and make necessary changes or adjustments

• Administer chemotherapy and other treatments to patients, monitor side effects, and provide supportive care

• Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans and provide input

• Advocate for patients and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care

• Devised and implemented individualized care plans for patients based on assessment of their physical, psychological, and emotional needs • Provided direct patient care and administered chemotherapy and other treatments

• Educated patients and their families on cancer treatments, self-care strategies, and available resources

• Monitored and managed side effects of treatments, as well as changes in patient condition

• Administered treatments, and monitored side effects, while providing direct patient care

• Effectuated individualized care plans

• Trained patients and their families on cancer treatments, self-care strategies, and available resources

• Participated in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans and provide input

  • Must be able to travel to San Francisco
