What are we looking for?
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician professional to join our team. As Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating maintenance activities , ensuring the efficient operation of our apartment complex properties. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and benefits.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Address and resolve all maintenance issues, including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliances.
- Assist in the preparation of vacant units for new residents, including painting, cleaning, and repairing/replacing any fixtures or appliances as necessary.
- Proactively respond to work order requests submitted by tenants of our property and handle interactions with all tenants in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the property’s grounds, including trash removal, snow removal, and landscaping tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventive maintenance measures.
- Collaborate with property management to prioritize maintenance needs and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents by maintaining a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
Requirements for this role:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, with strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with good communication skills.
- Bilingual is preferred, but Spanish speaking only are encouraged to apply as well.
