Citadel Roofing and Solar is looking for a bilingual (English/Spanish) Safety Inspector to join our Safety Team. This position is based in Santa Clarita, CA, however, will work throughout Southern California.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily jobsite audits to ensure employees are working safely
- Perform new hire and fleet training
- Complete jobsite and vehicle accident investigation
- Work closely with the Risk Manger to communicate and monitor injured employees
- Take pictures of safe and unsafe activities
- Document and record unsafe activities
- Other responsibilities as needed
Required Skills:
- Experience in the construction (roofing/solar) industry helpful but not required.
- Familiar with OSHA regulations helpful.
- Training experience helpful (new hire, fleet, etc.)
- Must be comfortable of heights, climbing ladders and being on the roof (only as needed).
- Minimal safety experience but not required.
- Easy to get along with others
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Daily travel in a company vehicle is required (road warrior).
- Must be flexible.
- Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Must have a clean driving record.
